General Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions must be read and agreed to prior to booking your event. By booking the event and paying your deposit, you are stating that you have read, understand and agree to the Terms and Conditions for booking an event at Ecco Ristorante.

DEPOSITS:

All deposits are non-refundable. These are deducted from the total balance at the time of final payment:

Deposit amounts required upon booking are as follows:

10-15 guests : $500 Deposit

15-20 guests : $750 Deposit

20-25 guests : $1,000 Deposit

25-30 guests : $1,500 Deposit

30-40 guests : $2,000 Deposit

40-50 guests: $2,500 Deposit

Exclusive use of Terrace Room: $3,000 Deposit

Exclusive use of Main Dining Room: $4,000 Deposit

Exclusive use of the Venue: $6,000 Deposit (Balance of Minimum Spend Due 2 weeks prior)

Temporary holds are offered for 48 hours before a deposit is required to secure your booking. With the exception of exclusive use bookings, all bookings for less than 50 guests will not become available until 3 months from requested date.

ON-SITE MEETINGS:

On site meetings are limited to private room bookings due to demand. Phone/email consults available to all smaller group bookings.

MENU SELECTIONS AND TASTINGS

Menu selections, dietary requirements & booking time is required 14 days prior to your event via the return of your Event Form. Menu tastings restricted to Wedding bookings.

TIMINGS

Silver package: 3.5 hours is allocated to your event.

Platinum package: 3.5 hours is allocated to your event.

Cocktail packages: 4 hours is allocated to your event.

Extra time can be added at a rate of $8pp/30 mins if available (beverages on consumption)

For cocktail & sit down packages which include a standard drinks package, an extension rate of $15pp/30 mins applies and $20pp/30 mins for an upgraded drinks page.

Packages will commence at no later than 15 minutes after your confirmed booking time. Function starting time slots are as follows: Lunch: 12pm-1:30pm (Sunday latest 2pm) Dinner: 6:30pm-8pm.

EXTENSIONS:

Day-time extensions are determined by dinner reservations and will need to be confirmed by the Events team.

Night-time events can be extended to a maximum of:

11pm on a Friday

11.45pm on a Saturday

10.30pm on a Sunday

BYO CAKE

You are welcome to bring in an external cake for an event, however there is a $3.50pp cakeage fee. This fee is waived with the addition of dessert on a per person basis to your package.

Cake is stored, cut and served by ecco staff.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Rescheduling to a different date within 12 weeks of your event will result in a loss of your deposit. A new minimum spend may apply on new dates even for reschedules prior to the 12 week cut off. A new deposit will be required to secure a new date. Ecco Ristorante has a 50% cancellation/reschedule fee of the total cost of the event up to 21 days prior to your reservation and a 100% cancellation/reschedule fee of the total amount of the event within 14 days of reservation. Our cancellation/reschedule fee is a conservative and genuine pre-estimate of our loss if you fail to keep your reservation & is non-negotiable.

FINAL NUMBERS

Final numbers are required 8 days prior to your event. This number can increase or decrease, however the number confirmed will be the minimum amount charged. A final food/total balance payable is due no later than 7 days prior to your event

PAYMENT

Payment in full is processed no later than 7 days prior to your event. Ecco reserves the right to not proceed with any event for 20+ guests which has not finalised payment at this due date.

MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT

Face painting is strictly not allowed at the venue. Kids entertainment in the form of a magician/entertainer is permitted. Colour pencils are permitted as another form of kids entertainment (strictly no textas or crayons).

Exclusive use private room bookings will be offered Spotify/Apple Music connectivity to our sound system(this excludes semi-private spaces).

DJ’s are permitted for exclusive use private room bookings only in accordance with the below:

  • Management reserves the right to turn volume levels down if excessive as consideration must be shown to diners in the neighbouring room and nearby residents.

  • DJs & musicians must utilise Ecco’s in house sound system via an XLR cable unless taking exclusive use of the whole venue where additional external speakers can be used.

Drums, flutes and one-man bands are only permitted for whole venue bookings. This is non-negotiable to ensure a pleasant experience for diners in the neighbouring room. (acoustic two piece guitar & vocalist is permitted).

SERVICE FEE

There is a 10% service fee that applies to all group bookings (over 8 people) and all event bookings. The fee does not contribute to a quoted minimum spend for exclusive use bookings. The service fee covers/includes:

  • Standard Table Setting including glassware, cutlery, crockery, premium white linen, premium cotton napkins in sand colour.

  • Premium staff

  • Dedicated events team (planning and coordination of menus, seating plans and event logistics from booking to event date

  • Coordination and supervision of bump in & out

  • Venue set up and cleaning
